The Whirlpool-owned brand, Kitchen Aid, a manufacturer of kitchen appliances, marks its centennial with a European tour.
Held in April 2019, the tour included five European stops: Hamburg, Bruges, London, Milan, and Paris.
In this important context, Touch Revolution worked alongside Timor & Sainz, an international event design company, creating the entire technological part, both hardware and software, based on a concept specifically developed by the agency Business & Road.
For the occasion, Touch Revolution created four technological areas to provide Kitchen Aid with an interactive educational path about its products through the use of holograms, music, sensors, and interactive tables.
The installations for each stop included:
- An interactive life-sized hologram managed by a tablet. From the tablet, users could switch products and see them displayed in the hologram, creating a strong visual impact.
- The reproduction of lights, music, sensors, and interactivity. Using a tablet, users could activate panels within a mobile structure, each associated with sounds emitted by the appliance, creating a harmonious melody.
- Creation of internally heated and cooled cubes. The idea was to convey a real sensation of warmth and coolness, with pasta and vegetable dishes inside. When users placed their hands inside, reference videos would start.
- Creation of four 55-inch interactive tables, specially built to run software developed by Touch Revolution, allowing users to interact with Kitchen Aid’s social media and see results directly on the social tables.
Additionally, two 70-inch vertical monitors, one visual and one touchscreen, were placed at each entrance to provide information about Kitchen Aid products.
Touch Revolution managed the installations across Europe, bringing professionalism and expertise, designing and building everything in its Milan workshop.
Touch Revolution also thanks the agency Business & Road for the opportunity to contribute technologically to the success of the European tour honoring Kitchen Aid’s 100 years.
