Touch Revolution technological partner of Dimmidisì at Tutto Food 2019
Linea Verde S.P.A., a leader in the Italian fresh and ready-to-eat fruit and vegetable market, has established a leading position in the markets for fourth-range products, ready-made first courses, extracts, smoothies, and juices.
At the Tutto Food trade fair held in Milan in 2019, the Italian company participated with its brand Dimmidisì, choosing Interlinea s.r.l. as partner, which relied on the expertise and professionalism of Touch Revolution for the technological part.
For the Dimmidisì brand, Touch Revolution developed a ski simulator displayed on a large, visually impactful LED wall. Registered users experienced the thrill of a giant slalom descent, sponsored by the Dimmidisì brand, and participated in a small contest related to the fastest course time.
The platform, designed by Interlinea and created by Touch Revolution, involved the use of sensors and cameras to track all the users’ movements during the descent and represent them on the screen through the creation of a proprietary algorithm, making the performance as close to reality as possible.
Users started from a gate where they placed their feet on skis and hands on poles, maintaining the correct posture to tackle the descent. Based on the user’s movements, the software calculated in real time the speed on the snow and recorded the actual course time. At the end of the game, the user could request a printed photo of their performance.
Once again, Interlinea entrusted Touch Revolution with the implementation of the project, choosing it as a partner of recognized experience for its technological expertise in developing such an ambitious project, integrating sensors and cameras and creating custom software that allowed the client to acquire data and innovatively promote their brand.
