The Italian company WorkEat, established to manage a fully interactive catering service, chose Touch Revolution, after a long and careful selection process, to design the entire technological part of the project.

After two years of success since the first installations, WorkEat has now opened three locations in major Italian transportation hubs: Naples Capodichino Airport, Turin Caselle Airport, and Rome Termini Station, with plans for many more openings due to the positive feedback from customers who experience the restaurant of the future.

In this project, Touch Revolution handled everything from order management to payment services, creating interactive tables designed and built in our workshops specifically for the client and developing all the software for order management and fiscal compliance (receipts, invoices, and sales slips).

With our tables, available in various sizes (from 2 to 4 people), customers can browse the full menu and then place their order. Once the order is placed, the table prompts them to select their preferred payment method. In this case, Touch Revolution integrated credit card payment directly into the table, alongside the most common digital payment options.

After payment is completed, the order is routed to the appropriate areas (kitchen, counter, beverage, etc.). While waiting to be served, customers can enjoy media features such as browsing magazines, surfing the internet, watching their favorite videos, using social media, and work tools. To entertain both adults and children, multitouch games have been provided.

The services offered by our tables are numerous, including wireless or USB smartphone charging, using personal headphones to listen to music or watch YouTube videos. Additionally, the software we developed provides users with constant updates on flight and train schedules.

The floor manager has full control over the tables through a tablet, which allows, among many functions, disabling the touchscreen for cleaning or restarting the tables.

The tables were designed and built to be waterproof and scratch-resistant.
